ClearlyRated helps B2B firms credibly differentiate themselves based on their service.
2020 has been a year for the books. Firms across the US and Canada had expected to be faced with a historically tight labor market and demand for internal staff. Instead, our economy is adjusting to a historic drop in employment, managing through a global pandemic, and businesses are working to respond appropriately to employees’ concerns following the murder of George Floyd in police custody.
There has never been a more important time to be in touch with the sentiment and engagement of your internal staff:
The ClearlyRated Employee Satisfaction Survey is designed to help firm leadership proactively measure internal employee sentiment with the Net Promoter® Score (NPS®). This key metric will allow your company’s leadership to benchmark employee satisfaction against other companies in their industry, identify opportunities for improved employee engagement, and, if employee satisfaction scores meet thresholds of excellence, earn an award for exceptional employee satisfaction in their industry.

Yes! We will be recognizing firms whose employees recognize them as exceptional with a Best of Employee Satisfaction award badge that you can use on your website and marketing materials.
To be eligible, you must send the Employee Satisfaction Survey to all current US- and Canada-based, full-time permanent employees of your firm. Additionally, you must receive at least 15 completed responses and a minimum response rate of 50% to have your employee Net Promoter Score considered for the Best of Employee Satisfaction award. Each firm's survey responses are calculated and validated by ClearlyRated.
Based on industry benchmarks for the given award year, ClearlyRated determines the minimum satisfaction score that firms must earn to be awarded Best of Employee Satisfaction - ensuring the employee satisfaction of winning firms is significantly higher than the industry average.
Yes. All employee feedback will be reported anonymously. We are asking your staff to be as transparent as possible, and only by anonymizing their feedback can we expect them to be candid and honest.
Yes! If you upgrade to Enterprise, you can customize your questions. The NPS question is required, but everything else can be customized. If you’re not Enterprise, you’ll have access to all our standard survey questions and any associated benchmarks available.
We suggest that those in senior leadership positions be involved in survey planning and have full access to the survey results. Your HR team can be an important partner in this process, too, especially if they are heavily involved with your client and talent surveys.
When you announce your survey, set the expectation that everyone should participate. And be excited! You can use the following tips to help you compose your own communication:
Perks for participation do affect response rate! We recommend setting an office goal - 80% is a good target - that, if met, would reward all employees with, for example: a pizza party, additional PTO, or a casual Friday. Great creative with your incentives!
We recommend creating an action plan based on what you learn from your employees. One exercise we find helpful is Start, Stop, Continue.
Want more assistance? Your ClearlyRated account manager can help you review results and brainstorm ideas.
First, share results with senior leadership and managers. We then recommend sharing the results and your action plan with the entire organization. Be transparent and reinforce the message that making your organization a great place to work is a team effort!
When you upgrade your employee survey program to view segmented responses, ClearlyRated will generate a customized PDF report to help your firm measure and benchmark employees' perceptions as it relates to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace. In addition to benchmarking your firm against your industry, this report will demonstrate how perceptions vary by key demographics within your organization—including, but not limited to, perceptions by age group, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, familial status, and tenure (report may vary depending on number of responses from your firm). Perceptions addressed by the ClearlyRated Employee Satisfaction Survey that will be examined in the DEI Benchmarking Report include:
